Tuition is due on the first day of class. If my child drops out before the end of the semester, I agree to pay the entire amount regardless. I understand and agree that all deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are asked to reserve a student’s spot in the class, thus I understand that deposits cannot be refunded even if my student is unable to take the classes.
Payment Plans
– I/we understand that payment installments does not mean that we are making a monthly commitment to the classes, but that we are committed to paying the full tuition for the session in a monthly basis. We are making a three month commitment. For that reason, all payment installments will still be processed even if a student withdraws early from the session.
– Failed payments (for e.g. insufficient funds) for tuition installments must be paid within five (5) days of e-mail notification from office. There will be a $15 fee for a failed payment. Failure to pay delinquent payment installment more than five (5) days of e-mail notification will result in student’s removal from course (until payment has been made), and remaining balance will still be owed.
– A request to change the date of a scheduled payment must be e-mailed to the office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled payment being processed. Additionally, the change to the scheduled date is at the discretion of the office.
– Tuition installments that need to be paid other than through the on-line system will be assessed a $15 fee for processing (for e.g. personal check, cash) for each installment.
– All tuition payments need to be made on the scheduled dates even if student has withdrawn from the courses.
– I understand that The Young Actors Studio hires a faculty that is exquisite, and carefully selected. Because of this, all faculty could be subject to change without any prior notice. No refund will be provided because of a different faculty.
– I understand that The Young Actor’s Studio has the right to cancel this program/session at any time for any reason. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be provided but no additional compensation will be provided including to, but not limited to, traveling expenses, lodging expenses, any direct, or indirect costs related to cancellation as incurred by participant or family members/guardians of participant. I/we understand that we can not seek any compensation beyond the refund from The Young Actor’s Studio for canceling of the program/session.
– I agree to not interfere with the training process that the studio excels in. I agree to phone the studio if my child is running late, will be leaving early, or will be absent.
-I understand that if my child misses three (3) or more classes then there is no guarantee that they can participate in the presentation. I also understand that no refund will be provided because of exclusion from presentation for reasons including (but not limited to): excessive absences, inappropriate behavior/conduct or lack of preparation as determined by Young Actor’s Studio teachers/staff.
-Students may not damage or destroy anything in the studios, lobby, office, and I will be liable for any, and all, damages to the theater property should this occur.
-I am responsible for telling the studio about any medical conditions, allergies, physical, or emotional problems that my child may have. I understand that this will be kept confidential and that this knowledge will only be used to keep the learning experience excellent for my child.
-If a child is not picked up within a half hour after class ended, the staff of The Young Actor’s Studio will make every effort to contact the parent/guardian/or any of the emergency contacts provided. If no one is reached or able to pick up the child then, as mandated by the Department of Social Services, the police will be called. Leaving a child at The Young Actor’s Studio after the studio closes can be considered abandonment. The Young Actor’s Studio and NoHo Actor’s Studio faculty and staff are not allowed to take children home.
-I/we hereby agree to hold harmless The Young Actor’s Studio, Inc. staff, faculty, contractors, employees, and volunteers from any liability both medical, emotional, physical, from any, and all, activities, programs, events, classes, workshops. I/we hereby acknowledge the existence of the implied risk associated with all programs for children/teens and the areas where such activities and programs take place.
-I accept that The Young Actor’s Studio has the right to dismiss students, at any time, from the studio for any conduct the studio deems detrimental to the learning environment. Should this occur, I understand that there will be no refund. I expressly release your agents, employees, contractors, and volunteers from all claims which I may have in relation to my child’s dismissal from the studio.
