The Young Actor's Studio

Today and Sunday in acting production class I focused on the kids really being specific and detailed on the place work. Stephen and Jordan Iverson were really amazing with this work this week. Madison and Sierra really did wonderful as well. In an effort to make the kids feel realistic on stage or camera you need to create the place with the senses and we focused on that in all the acting classe this week. The scene work was just great. They are getting close to performance level. A lot of fun. The sunday class did voice work, movement and speaking out along with place exercises as well. Different students worked on places that they are going to use in their performances. After the place was clear and they had the freedom, I had them walk around and interact with eachother as the characters. It was really fun! To reward all that hard work we ended the day with some fun comedy improvisations.
